roumo is a company specializing in desk & office products to enhance comfort and productivity while on the job. The company began with the CEO's desire to create the kind of optimally comfortable desk environment he would have liked to work at.
With the health and comfort of the office worker in mind, roumo developed the High Performance 2nd Gen Footrest, which allows the user to customize the positioning of their legs and feet while working to better increase comfort and encourage better posture overtime.
OUR APPROACH
Recognizing the increasing importance of maintaining good health and posture while in the working environment and the demand to make office spaces as conducive to creativity and productivity as possible, roumo designed the High Performance 2nd Gen Footrest with specific features that cater to the needs of office workers, casual desk users, and even outdoor campers. The primary challenge was to offer a foot & leg rest that not only provided superior versatility to support a variety of leg positions, but also was designed in a way that it could be comfortably used for hours on end.
The roumo High Performance 2nd Gen Footrest is designed around nine key elements, with durability, portability, and of course the comfort of the user in mind:
Ergonomic 2-step design: Thanks to customizable height settings, users can find the perfect leg and foot position for maximized personal comfort. The Dual Rest LC99 provides both the functionality of a footrest and an ottoman.
Height and Angle Adjustment: With the use of 18 different adjustment points, the height and angle of the footrest can be precisely adjusted to suit the position of your feet. This allows for easy customization to fit a variety of preferred working positions and body types.
Ample Width: The Dual Rest LC99 is generously designed with a width of 20.15 inches (512 mm), allowing for comfortable leg & foot placement- whether the user likes to keep their feet together or spread them out.
Stable non-slip foot rest: The Dual Rest LC99 is designed with non-slip support to allow your feet to allow your feet to remain in place as you relax.
Easy Position Adjustment: The Dual Rest LC99 is designed to be easily moved and adjusted beneath the desk with the user's legs, so you don't have to interrupt your workflow to reach beneath the desk.
Lightweight and Durable: Durability, stability and portability are paramount in the design of the Dual Rest LC99. The product is made with 6mm thick ABS material, allowing for easy-to-carry lightness.
Recycled Fabric Cushion: The Dual Rest LC99 features CORDURA re/cor™ fabric, an innovation in the use of recycled materials. This fabric is a durable and rugged nylon made from repurposed materials used in the manufacturing process, making Dual Rest LC99 ideal for not only indoor use, but also outdoor relaxation.
Expandable Accessories: roumo is introducing the Goldilocks blanket, an accessory designed to optimize user comfort while using Dual Rest LC99. Featuring 3M Thinsulate™ fabric, the Goldilocks can be placed over the lap or shoulders to keep warm in chilly environments. Additionally, the Goldilocks comes with a convenient carrying bag made of CORDURA re/cor™ fabric, so it can easily be folded up and taken on the go.
Tactical Style: Featuring the user's choice of Black and Khaki, the Dual Rest LC99 combines functionality and style for a rugged and durable aesthetic.
