Case Study: Lift & Slide Cart - An Effortless Way to Load Cargo
Pairon Tools is a US company that creates products aimed at providing logistical solutions, so the user can focus on the job at hand, rather than stress over how to accomplish it.
If you're performing a labor-intensive task, you don't want to worry about the additional headache and exertion of the logistical side of things. Loading and unloading heavy items should be the least difficult part of the job. Knowing this, Pairon Tools developed the Lift & Slide Cart, designed to simplify the loading and unloading of vehicle cargo and make it effortless.
OUR APPROACH
The challenge was to design a scissor lift-equipped cart that not only could easily lift and elevate the desired cargo to the height of a pickup truck bed or van floor, but also make the job of transferring the cargo-laden cart onto the vehicle surface easy as well.
Recognizing the increasing need for a scissor lift cart that could do more, Pairon Tools designed the Lift & Slide Cart with specific features that combine the enhanced lifting power of a scissor lift with an innovative sliding mechanism that allows for the wheeled cart to be easily moved forward off the scissor lift and onto the vehicle surface, so the scissor lift can be retracted and locked into place.
Pairon Tools developed the Lift & Slide Cart, designed around six key elements, all designed around the convenience and satisfaction of the user:
Cargo Sliding Mechanism Design: The Lift & Slide Cart was designed to allow for sliding the cargo forward onto a vehicle surface (cargo bay), as long as the cargo bay height is between 40 and 50 inches, and no less than 48 inches deep.
High-quality steel for durability: The carbon steel and aluminum construction of the Lift & Slide Cart means that the equipment is built to last, even through heavy usage and harsh conditions.
Battery-powered for seamless operation: The rechargeable battery allows the Lift & Slide Cart to operate more efficiently and precisely, and eliminates the need for manual pumping.
Easy-to-use controls: The Lift & Slide Cart is easily operated using simple power controls, allowing the user to focus on completing the job safely and paying attention to the load.
Foldable handle for compact storage: The handle folds down, allowing the cart to be stored in a greater range of tight spaces.
Fully mobile wheels for smooth mobility: The Lift & Slide Cart was designed with mobile, 360-degree wheels equipped with caster brakes, for maximum mobility and safety.

THE RESULTS
