DeMill AB is a Swedish company based in Stockholm that creates everyday use items in sleek, minimalist fashion, and always made from high-grade and environmentally-friendly materials. DeMill AB makes products aimed at making everyday life smoother.
Clothes hangers can be essential for certain items of clothing you want to keep pristine- Your favorite leather jacket, a tailored suit jacket, or an expensive formal dress. You don't want to just throw these items down onto the next seat when flying or onto a hotel room armchair, but you also can't just hang them anywhere without risking damage or the clothes falling on the floor. And perhaps you can fit an ordinary hanger or two into your luggage, but you can't carry one around with you on the go.
What to do?
DeMill AB had this exact issue in mind when they designed the Häng!
Our Approach
The challenge was to design a pocket hanger that not only provided all the hanging strength of an ordinary hanger, but also neatly folded up into a sleek & pocket-sized profile, perfect for keeping in a suit jacket pocket.
The result is the Häng, which redesigns the ordinary clothes hanger with sleek, Scandinavian-minded fashion sensibilities. The secret is the thick, low environmental impact composite material Ecozen, which provides durability made to last, again and again when you (and your clothes) need it. The Häng was designed around these five key design elements:
Innovative: The Häng is foldable into a slim, pocket-sized profile. It's designed to be extremely lightweight and durable, so that the user gets years of satisfaction and reliability from it.
Design: The Häng sports an understated, minimalist and refined look, rooted in the Scandinavian design aesthetic, which places emphasis on simplicity and efficiency.
Space-saving: The Häng isn't just ideal for bringing one of on the go, it's perfect for situations where you may need to make use of a closet or wardrobe that doesn't provide hangers, or a situation with no closet or wardrobe at all. In that case, packing several of the Häng in your luggage can easily give you the hanger capacity you need for all your clothing!
Portable: With a smooth folding action and locking mechanism, the Häng is easy to take with you, wherever you need to go.
Sustainability: The strong, low environmental impact composite Ecozen allows the Häng to last.

THE RESULTS
The DeMill AB Häng's Kickstarter video campaign, while short, is direct and to-the-point. It shows off the stylish design aesthetic of the hanger well. Backers showed their appreciation at the simplicity of the design, and the tiny profile of the product when fully folded. Overall, the feedback was very positive on this product.
